Info you need to know about Crimson Haze!

Info you need to know about Crimson Haze!

All 66 cards from Crimson Haze‘s main set have just been revealed by the official Japanese TCG website!

The set will release in Japan next Friday, March 22nd (which is coincidentally the release date of our Temporal Forces set).

Crimson Haze features Bloodmoon Ursaluna. It’s a unique, individual Pokemon from The Teal Mask DLC. You can only capture one, so it’s essentially an event Pokemon. While an Ursaring can evolve into an Ursaluna, you can’t evolve an Ursaring into Bloodmoon Ursaluna. This is because a specific Ursaluna traveled from Hisui to Kitakami in the past and adapted to the region, eventually becoming the one and only Bloodmoon Ursaluna.

Staying true to the reveal order of the video games, this set only features Dipplin, not its evolution Hydrapple. This is because Dipplin was first introduced in The Teal Mask as a new evolution of Applin (joining Flapple and Appletun). Hydrapple came later in The Indigo Disk DLC as the new evolution of Dipplin.

Hydrapple will presumably be included in July’s Stellar Miracle set. It will feature Pokemon introduced in The Indigo Disk, including Terapagos ex. It’s also going to introduce a Stellar Tera type.

Crimson Haze and April’s Mask of Change featuring Ogerpon will form our Twilight Masquerade set in May. The set was just revealed this morning.

Four new Illustration Rares were also just revealed! Only a handful of Crimson Haze‘s secret rares have been revealed so far. The rest should come by next week. Stay tuned!
